The ESPN "College GameDay" crew was in Eugene, Oregon, in Week 7 for a prime-time matchup between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon.

While "College GameDay" hosted its second straight show on the West Coast after visiting Berkeley, California, in Week 6, longtime analyst Lee Corso was again absent from the panel.

Corso missed Week 6 after dealing with " health issues , " which has seemingly rolled over to missing back-to-back weeks.

While introducing the "College GameDay" panel in Eugene in Week 7, host Rece Davis sent a message from Corso, mentioning that the 89-year-old is hoping to be back on the show "very soon."

“Lee Corso, hoping he gets back with us very soon," Davis said. "I talked to LC this week. He wants to send his regards to his very good friend, The Duck. And the other thing, Pat, he’s got to be sorry in seeing what this crowd’s about.”

Corso is currently in his 38th season of "College GameDay." Before being on the panel for the iconic college football show, Corso was a coach and player at the collegiate level.

He was a quarterback at Florida State from 1953-57 and began his time as a coach shortly after. Corso first served as a graduate assistant at Florida State and then became the head coach at Louisville, Indiana and Northern Illinois in later years.

While he's one of the most iconic figures in college football, Corso's availability on "College GameDay" has been in question for much of the last two years.

He spent time away from the show last season for "health issues" and has now run into a similar issue in 2024.

While Corso is returning from feeling " under the weather ," the college football world will be eagerly awaiting the legend's return to the panel.
