In Week 7, ESPN’s “College GameDay” was in Eugene, Oregon, for the top-three showdown between the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 3 Oregon Ducks.

Meanwhile, the show has officially announced where it’s headed to next.

In Week 8, “College GameDay” will be in Austin, Texas, where the fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs will face the No. 1 team in the land, the Texas Longhorns.

This will be the Bulldogs' first trip to Austin to take on the Longhorns since 1958. They last played each other in 2018, but now that they are SEC rivals, fans can expect to see this matchup more frequently.

This game will showcase two of the top teams in all of college football. Georgia currently has a 4-1 record, with its only loss being to Alabama. It's also secured SEC victories over Kentucky and Auburn.

On the other hand, Texas sits at a perfect 5-0, including a non-conference win against Michigan, the defending national champion.

Elite talent will be all over the field, including two highly-rated quarterback prospects: Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck. Both are expected to be first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Kickoff next Saturday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
