Tim Tebow has as much orange and blue running through his blood as any Florida Gator who's ever lived.  The former Heisman Trophy winner and two-time national champion is an analyst on the SEC Network, and sometimes that homerism - or cockeyed optimism, at least - becomes apparent when it comes to his alma mater's chances as an underdog.

Well, that didn't exactly happy on Saturday morning on the SEC Nation show.  Tebow, Paul Finebaum, and the rest of the crew made their picks for Saturday's annual battle between the Tennessee Vols and the Florida Gators.

Surprisingly, Tebow went with the Vols to get the win on Saturday, albeit in a close one.  With a pause and a grin, the rest of Tebow's broadcast mates sensed the pick and mumbled some, "oh no's".

"I really think Florida is much improved, and they're going to give Tennessee fits," Tebow said. "I think being at Neyland, I think Nico is just too good.  I think they make a few plays at the end. Honestly, I think at the end, the front seven for Tennessee is what really gets it done, and we haven't even touched on that yet."

Fortunately for Tennessee, host Laura Rutledge picked Florida to avoid the clean sweep of picks for Tennessee and avoid the dreaded jinx of the commentators.

Tebow had plenty of success against Tennessee, going 4-0 in his career against the Vols from 2006-2009.  The Vols haven't had much more success against their archrivals since he left either, winning just twice since then.  No matter the line, Florida has shown up and Tennessee mostly hasn't.

That's why, despite a 14.5-point line, there's belief among some that Florida has a legit chance of winning in Knoxville on Saturday.

However, it sounds like the biggest Gator on the planet doesn't share that confidence.  That should say something about the Vols' chances this time around in a rivalry that's given them fits for 30 years.

The Gators and Vols kick off on Saturday night at 7:00 pm ET from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
