Cameron Skattebo reacts to Arizona State’s win over Utah

Cameron Skattebo and the Arizona Sun Devils are now 5-1 after a dramatic win over the Utah Utes.

The senior running back rushed for 158 yards and two scores in the upset victory.

After the game, he spoke about what went right for ASU that led to the win.

Cam can you just walk us through the the 50 yard run and then the the touchdown?

Cameron: I don't know Coach Dillingham says big time players make big time plays…I tell you guys every week I tell him to give me the ball every play…Sam trusted me we called a play that we knew was going to work at that time. Funny enough me and Sam actually worked that over the shoulder all week on a whole whole bunch of different other plays. It wasn't even that one…but I was working that over the shoulder every time…he gave me a chance and I made the catch…the touchdown just o line did a great job moving sideways and I was able to find a hole guy slipped underneath me and I was able to get loose.

What are your emotions and your perspective on going from losing to Utah to knocking them off on your own field 11 months later?

Cameron: Different football team..,you know what I mean we had different guys on the field we had guys that are playing together every snap, we got guys that trust me, trust the defense, trust Sam, trust the o line. Everybody trusts each other and it's incredible. We got our fire back since Texas Tech and guys are playing for each other and it's a whole different football team than it was last year. I had to talk with JT at the beginning of the game is if I go for 400 or you go for 250 this can't be a selfish game we got to play together.
