Chicago Bulls Could Land Brandon Ingram and Los Angeles Lakers Star in Blockbuster Trade

The Chicago Bulls are stuck in no man's land right now. Not good enough to compete and not bad enough to lose consistently. That is the last place you want to be in the NBA.

The Bulls seem to be looking to kickstart a rebuild but for that to happen, they will need to trade Zach LaVine.

Unfortunately, there is not much trade interest in the former two-time All-Star. LaVine has struggled with injury problems lately and has a huge contract on top of it.

On top of his game, LaVine is one of the most dynamic scorers in the league and could still be an asset on the right team.

There are other teams in the league who need to make some moves as well, like the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans. Perhaps they could all come together to make something happen that would benefit them.

In an article on Bleacher Report , Andy Bailey suggested a three-team trade that would see the Bulls receive Brandon Ingram, D'Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2029 first-round pick (from Los Angeles) and a 2031 first-round pick (from Los Angeles). The Lakers would receive LaVine and Antonio Reeves. And the Pelicans would get Rui Hachimura, Chris Duarte, Cam Reddish, Jaxson Hayes and a 2031 first-round pick (from Chicago).

The trade would see the Bulls land two big names in Ingram and Russell. But it would very much still be with their rebuild in mind as both are on expiring contracts.

The Lakers would add a third star as they look to make the most of LeBron James' remaining years on the court, and there surely can't be many with him turning 40 before the end of the year.

As for the Pelicans, it would be a chance for them to move away from the Ingram era and Hayes would at least give them another option at center.
