Therapy animals make such a big difference in people's lives, and as a dog person myself, I know how much my stress level goes down when spending time petting and cuddling with my own dog (and seeing new dogs while out and about). I've also seen the same happen for my daughter, so it makes sense to me that some schools are choosing to have their own resident therapy dogs on hand to help the students through whatever they might be coping with — or even just to boost their spirits when they see a dog at school. We should take the joyful moments wherever we can get them, especially if it involves a dog.

At one school, the therapy dog is an adorable deaf Pit Bull pup, and at the end of the school day, here's there to greet the kids before they leave for the day. This video is pure joy, so only watch this if you're looking for an instant mood boost!

This video was shared by @deafcole on TikTok, and it's easy to see why so many people are falling in love with this white Pit Bull named Cole after watching this.

Calling it a "perk of the job," Cole's human wheels him out to the main area of the school right around the time dismissal happens so he can be where the action is. I don't think I've ever seen a dog surrounded by so many people who are happy to see them before. It seems like every kid in that school stopped to pet him on their way out!

Cole is clearly so good at his job — and his uniform is perfection, too. I love all of the patches on his vest, including the ones that say "therapy dog, please pet me" and "happiness ambassador."

    What a good boy!

    More About Cole

According to Cole's official website , he was adopted by a music teacher named Chris Hannah in 2017 after being passed over at the shelter by several prospective parents — and his new dad quickly discovered that Cole responded to American Sign Language.

Cole goes to work every day with his dad, and he is part of a "social-emotional learning program" that they launched together at the school they now both work at.

"Cole, along with Chris' deaf nephew, have taught children that it is okay to be different, helped students recover courage and self-respect, and inspired acts of kindness throughout the community," says the site.

Check out his TikTok account for even more precious footage of Cole doing what he does best: Making people smile. This guy deserves all the treats!
