    Detroit man murdered at his Harrison Township workplace, suspect on the loose: sheriff

    HARRISON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) Police are searching for the suspect accused of killing a Detroit man at the victim’s workplace in Harrison Township.

    The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said the homicide happened at Immanuel and Associates warehouse on Executive Drive— near I-94 and North River Road. According to their press release, the victim was found dead inside the business on Friday (10/11) around 6:30 a.m.

    The sheriff’s office said— after reviewing security footage—investigators learned an unknown man in a mask (pictured above) parked his grey/silver SUV near the business around 5 a.m. He somehow gained entry to the building. The victim arrived at work about an hour later. At approximately 6:20 a.m., the suspect walked back to his SUV and drove away on southbound Executive Drive.

    The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Roger Palmer, 54.

    Investigators did not release any details about the circumstances leading up to the murder or a potential motive.

    The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about the crime to call Detective Jaroma at (586) 307-9412.
