Kirk Herbstreit and the ESPN "College GameDay" crew traveled out west to Eugene, Oregon in Week 7. They previewed one of the biggest games of the year, No. 2 Ohio State versus No. 3 Oregon, and also shared their predictions for some big-time Week 7 matchups.

While Herbstreit and company were talking about a couple of ranked matchups, the crew spent some time breaking down the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels taking on the No. 13 LSU Tigers.

Herbstreit was giving his picks from a private airplane, since the analyst was appointed the color commentary role for the "Red River Rivalry" between No. 1 Texas and No. 18 Oklahoma in Dallas, Texas.

Despite Herbstreit having to leave "College GameDay" early to cover an SEC bout in the south, he delivered all of his picks from the airplane.

Herbstreit believes the Tigers have what it takes to defeat Ole Miss, despite heading into the game as a 3.5-point underdog, per ESPN BET.

The ESPN analyst thinks home-field advantage for the Tigers will play a major role in the matchup.

While he gave credit to Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart for being a "dangerous player," he doesn't believe the Rebels can march into Tiger Stadium and defeat LSU.

“Jaxson Dart, dangerous player," Herbstreit said. "Great team. I think they’re very talented. I just have too much respect for Death Valley. 8 o’clock kick at night. That’s a tough environment."

Herbstreit explained that the Tigers' run game, behind running back Cade Durham will be the difference maker.

"I’ll tell you what, if you hadn’t seen Caden Durham emerge, 29 out of the backfield," Herbstreit added. "Runs it, catches it. Gives that offense a real spark. I think he makes some plays. Could be the difference in the game.”

Durham heads into the game against the Rebels having posted three touchdowns and 244 rushing yards on 29 carries this season. In the Tigers' latest outing, a 42-10 victory over South Alabama in Week 5, Durham produced one touchdown and 128 yards on just seven carries.

He also added one touchdown on three receptions and 89 yards in the air.

The Tigers' offense has been phenomenal all season. They have a quality quarterback in Garrett Nussmeier and two top-level receivers on the outside.

Nussmeier has recorded 15 touchdowns and 1,652 yards, with a 69.7 completion percentage in his first season as the starter.

Kyren Lacy has led the receiver room with five touchdowns on 25 receptions and 352 yards. On the opposite end, Aaron Anderson has produced two touchdowns on 27 receptions and 371 yards.
