The Nick Saban and Pat McAfee duo began last season when Saban joined McAfee's show weekly to talk about his Alabama team. That partnership continued when Saban retired from coaching and was added by ESPN.

Whether it was his weekly appearances on the show or his NFL Draft talk, Saban was on a rookie heater in his new career field.

Still, fans couldn't wait for the two to join each other on the set of College Gameday every week. It's week seven, and Saban and McAfee have created many memorable moments together.

Saturday morning in Eugene, Ore., gave fans another great memory as Saban joined McAfee for his weekly kicking contest.

Instead of watching or commentating along with McAfee, Saban got down on his hands and knees for the lucky contestant.

It took a second attempt, but the Oregon student absolutely nailed the kick, with aid from a wonderful hold by the GOAT himself, which won the student $100,000.

Saban was always one of the most stern faced, hard-nosed, and old-school coaches in the country and seeing him smile was a rare occurrence, but his more light-hearted nature on Gameday has made him an even more likable celebrity.

Whether it is bringing Miss Terry, Saban's wife, on the show with him, making his notorious dry-humored jokes, or even getting down on a knee to hold a kick, Saban's effect on Gameday has been immeasurable.
