People need service dogs for all kinds of reasons related to their medical conditions, and luckily, they are legally allowed to go virtually anywhere with their humans — theme parks included. It makes sense; not only should anyone who needs a service dog be able to keep their pup with them no matter where they're at, but it makes sense that a crowded and often unfamiliar environment like a busy theme park would be an especially important place to have the extra help they need from their dog who is trained to anticipate their needs without getting distracted.

Disney World is no exception, and it's not uncommon to spot at least one service dog doing their job while enjoying the parks. And in the case of the person who recorded this video and shared it on TikTok, sometimes, you might even get lucky enough to see a sweet Golden Retriever celebrating a big milestone.

On Tuesday, October 8, @heather.demers shared this footage she captured at Magic Kingdom in Disney World of a service dog in all his glory. And not only was the moment cute, but it was also special: the OP said that she overheard someone say that this pup was celebrating his 13th birthday! And even better: His name is Sully, which I can only assume must have been inspired by the character from Monster's Inc .

In the video, the OP wrote that she heard Sully's mom tell someone, "He's been coming here a long time."

This Golden Retriever is such a good boy, posing for photos in his Mickey ears and even smiling for the camera! And with that white face, it's clear that this senior dog is so loved.

In the comments, there is plenty of proof of that, since many people said that they were able to meet Sully at Disney over the years, too. "Wait I met Sully this time last year on his birthday!! His ears even had his name stitched on them," one person wrote.

    How sweet!

Bringing a Service Dog to Disney World

The Disney World website states that service dogs or miniature horses who have been "individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability" are welcome most anywhere on property, aside from water (like swimming pools).

Each theme park has areas for service dogs to relieve themselves, and in many cases, the dogs are even able to ride the attractions with their parents!

For example, at Magic Kingdom, Sully would have been able to join his mom on rides. like Pirates of the Caribbean and It's a Small World, though he would have had to sit out on rollercoasters including Space Mountain (which is probably for the best). But if dogs aren't permitted on certain rides, a kennel is usually provided for them to hang out until their parents are done!

Sully seems like a very good boy who deserves all the love being thrown his way. What a cutie!
