The head and hands of a 16-year-old girl last seen alive nearly 20 years ago were discovered in the freezer of a Colorado home that sold earlier this year, officials said Friday. Mesa County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Investigators disclosed the remains belonged to teen Amanda Leariel Overstreet, who was the biological daughter of the home’s previous owner and last seen in April 2005, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday .

Why would the murderer leave the body parts in a freezer and not remove them before selling the house and moving. Something is just not right about this story
