Alabama Legend Has Blunt Reaction to Win Over South Carolina

Alabama escaped with a 27-25 win over South Carolina on Saturday. In a game in which they were favored to win by three touchdowns, the Crimson Tide struggled to gain margin and needed some bounces to go their way at the end to escape with the victory.

Former Heisman-winning running back Mark Ingram II had a blunt reaction to yet another nail-biting win for his alma mater. "Bro we need a miracle every week it shouldn't be this way," Ingram said.

Ingram won the Heisman Trophy at Alabama in 2009 after finishing with nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 20 total touchdowns, leading the Crimson Tide to the BCS National Championship game.

Ingram is accustomed to the Nick Saban era in Tuscaloosa, where the Crimson Tide would dominate opponents like Vanderbilt and South Carolina. Alabama has been unconvincing in Kalen Deboer's first season as the head coach.

In DeBoer's defense, the level of parity in the SEC is arguably greater than at any point in Saban's tenure. Still, Alabama has a high standard that hasn't been met this season, and former program legends are taking notice.

Coach needs to get some discipline back in the program like Saban had this will not work out for him if he doesn’t.

The players are to worried about talking trash and celebrating after making 1 play. They will literally celebrate for 30 minutes after 1 play that was an easy tackle that should be made by anyone in college football and forget about having to win the game
