The Houston Texans picked up a big win in Week 5 over the Buffalo Bills. But the NFL is disciplining one of their key offensive players.

With Texans' tight end Dalton Schultz being fined for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting. The action that led to this fine can be seen below.

Week 5 was arguably Schultz's best game of the 2024 season to date. His six targets, four receptions, and 34 yards against the Bills' are all season-highs for the Texans TE. He will look to build on that going forward, especially with the Texans placing star wide receiver Nico Collins on the IR this week.

But before he can even touch the field for Week 6, he has been hit with a $11,255.00 fine. There were 29 fines given out by the NFL from the Week 5 slate. Nine of those were due to "Unsportsmanlike Conduct." Schultz's $11,255.00 was the third-lowest unsportsmanlike conduct fine given out by the league this week. And this fine was the fifth given out to a Texans player through the first five weeks of the season.

Hopefully, Schultz can let this fine be his last and move forward as the Texans continue an amazing start to the 2024 season. The team sits at 4-1 and is set to face off with the New England Patriots and rookie quarterback Drake Maye in his first NFL start in Week 6.
