Madison, WI - The Wisconsin women's hockey team maintained its unblemished record Saturday when it defeated the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs 5-1.

Badgers starting goaltender Ava McNaughton saved 33 of 34 shots, including 16 third-period saves.

In the second period, defender Laney Potter scored what proved to be the game-winning goal. Despite coming into the afternoon with the longest scoring drought of any player on her team, Potter added a second goal in the third period.

The Wisconsin women's hockey team takes the ice again tomorrow for the series finale with the Bulldogs. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 PM central. You can watch the game on B1G+ or listen on iHeart Radio and 1070 AM The Game - Madison.

Next weekend, the Badgers travel to play a two-game series with the Minnesota Golden Gophers - another matchup of teams ranked in the top-five of the national polls. Saturday's game, which begins at 2:00 PM central, will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
