    Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or candy melts)
    • Candy eyes (for decoration)

    Directions

    • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
    • Make the Cookie Dough:
      • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
      • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
      • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
      • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
    • Shape the Cookies:
      • Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each ball slightly with your fingers.
    • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked; they will set as they cool. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
    • Melt the Chocolate:
      • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips (or candy melts) in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
    • Decorate the Mummies:
      • Once the cookies are completely cool, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cookies to create a mummy wrapping effect. You can use a piping bag or a fork for this.
      • Immediately place candy eyes on top of the chocolate before it sets.
    • Let Set: Allow the cookies to sit until the chocolate has hardened.
    • Serve and Enjoy: Your Mummy Cookies are ready to be enjoyed! They make a perfect Halloween treat!

    What do you think?

These are easier to make than you might think, right? Enjoy them with a cold glass of milk.
