Remember, you set out to pull the attention of Louis, and helping out one of his men probably isn't a bad call. </p><p>Strohl and Hulkenberg both remember this goal well because if you choose to see how it plays out, they'll butt in and make you help anyway. </p><p><b>Ultimately, choosing whether to help Glodell or seeing how it plays out changes nothing in Metaphor: ReFantazio.</b> You'll still end up fighting Gideaux, since Strohl will call their attention. </p><p>You can see how to go about fighting Gideaux in the walkthrough, but in summary, don't attack Gideaux himself--only take out his men.
