Chester’s Son: Linkin Park Member ‘Can’t Perform’

Chester Bennington’s son Jaime Bennington posted some thoughts about Linkin Park and Emily Armstrong on Instagram, saying Emily Armstrong can’t perform lead vocals, and is unable to properly sing.

Jamie Bennington shares his thoughts

Taking to Instagram stories, he wrote:

“1). Emily literally can’t sing the music. Her voice has broken consistently since @linkinpark
kicked down the door.”

“2). Personally, I don’t see Emily making the old music her own even if she played 230 shows.”

“3). There is no way in hell that @chesterbe would have supported this new iteration of @linkinpark. Not EVERYONE would be getting high fives.”

He added:

“5). Speaking of ‘It Starts with one,’ Ryan Shuck is on record claiming that he helped my father through an ‘hour-by- hour’ struggle with his ‘alcoholism’ in the months leading up to his death. Despite the fact that Chester was reported to have been ‘the best he has EVER BEEN’ when he allegedly k***ed himself.”

Linkin Park unveiled their single titled “The Emptiness Machine” from their upcoming album From Zero which marked the band’s first release of new music in several years. Fans were thrilled after the band performed in a live stream event on September 5th to announce their comeback.

However, the addition of former Dead Sara vocalist Emily Armstrong drew mixed reactions from the fans and Mike Shinoda also addressed the same. However, Chester’s widow, Talinda Bennington seemingly approved of the band’s choice to replace Chester. But, Chester’s son, Jamie Bennington launched a scathing attack.

Meanwhile, Chester’s mother is “upset” over Linkin Park’s decision to replace Chester with Emily. During an interview with Rolling Stone , Susan Eubanks claimed that the nu-metal band had previously assured her that she would be notified about any future changes should its members continue performing as a group. However, Eubanks felt “betrayed” as the band, hired Emily as Bennington’s replacement.

Eubanks noted that Bennington’s first wife, Samantha Marie Olit, and their son Draven (22), were also unaware that Linkin Park were reuniting with Armstrong until they announced it to the world. However, Chester Bennington’s ex-wife, Samantha Bennington has refuted the claims
