Oktagon MMA smashed MMA attendance records as 59,000 packed a soccer stadium in Frankfurt, Germany for their latest big event.
Oktagon 62 took place at Deutsche Bank Park, home of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, as the Czech-Slovak promotion held its biggest and most ambitious show to date.
The event was a slam-dunk success, as a packed, raucous crowd was treated to a spectacular night of fights, with a little music thrown in for good measure.
Three new champions crowned at Oktagon 62
In the main event, Frankfurt's own Christian Eckerlin defeated his welterweight rival, Stuttgart's Christian Jungwirth, with a dominant performance to earn a shutout victory on the judges' scorecards.

That followed the co-main event, where Kerim Engizek dethroned Oktagon's number-one ranked pound-for-pound fighter, Patrik Kincl, for the middleweight title.
The first title fight of the night saw the lone non-European fighter capture championship gold as former UFC strawweight Mallory Martin defeated champion Katharina Dalisda in their rematch to capture the Oktagon women's strawweight title.

In addition to a packed night of fights, the fans were treated to a halftime show from singer and DJ John Newman, while German combat sports superstar Stephan Puetz became the third fighter inducted into the Oktagon MMA Hall of Fame.
There was also an appearance from Germany's former World Cup winning striker Lukas Podolski, who was on hand to deliver the "King of Germany" belt to cageside before the main event.
