Actress Uses Taylor Swift to Clap Back at Travis Kelce's Ex-Girlfriend

While the Kansas City Chiefs are on a bye week, tight end Travis Kelce is spending as much time as possible with his girlfriend Taylor Swift. The couple was spotted out in New York City on Oct. 11 having a double date with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

One day prior, Kelce's ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, broke her silence on their split during an appearance on Angel Reese's podcast, "Unapologetically Angel." Nicole, 32, and Kelce, 35, dated on and off for five years before officially breaking up in 2022.

While the fitness influencer opened up about the onslaught of hateful messages she receives online from Swiftie trolls and her current relationship with Kelce , a "crazy" story she told about another guy she dated from a decade ago turned heads.

Nicole didn't reveal any names, but said that she dressed up his new girlfriend for Halloween, "a singer/actress who was famous at the time." Fans quickly realized her ex was former NBA star Iman Shumpert and that Nicole dressed up as Teyana Taylor for Halloween .

Taylor, who was married to Shumpert between 2015 and 2023, used Swift to clap back at Nicole on Instagram.

With Swift's hit song, "Shake It Off," playing the background, Taylor listed off five films that she's working on, a direct reply to Nicole's "famous at the time" comment.

"The Battle of the Baktan Cross" star captioned the post, "know 2025 gone hate to see a Taylor coming!! ❤️‍🔥🌹🎥🎬🎞️ 💸." Me: You did ya big one 🙏🏾God: AND DID 🤲🏾."

One fan commented, "This with the slick shade, playing Taylor Swift😅😂😂 , GO TEYANAAAA!😘😍🔥🤌🏾👏🏾🥳🎉💯." Another person wrote, "I see what you did here TT 😂 Using the Taylor Swift song she got left for 2 Taylor’s 😂😂😂." One woman wrote, "Hope you’re ok with Swifties joining your fandom now! That was a queen move today."

In a since-deleted comment on The Shade Room's post, Taylor went off the disrespect she felt from Nicole with a lengthy message, as well.

She wrote in part, "I'm finding out with the world that her intentions were ill and petty. She pulled the black card on Taylor Swift, but in the same circle, turned around and tied to bully the black girl who was married to her situationship she claimed "dumped her for me." Dressing up like for what???"
