LeBron James Left Speechless After Ohio State Loss vs. Oregon

NBA superstar LeBron James has never been shy when it comes to showing his support for teams based in Cleveland. In fact, before the ALDS Game 5, he wished the Cleveland Guardians good luck .

On Saturday night, James turned his attention to another Cleveland-based team. As the Ohio State Buckeyes took on the Oregon Ducks, the Los Angeles Lakers star was clearly rooting for his hometown team.

However, when the Ducks pulled off a 32-31 stunner against the Buckeyes, James was left speechless.

The Lakers forward couldn't say anything at all and could only post a GIF of the character Anger from the animated movie, "Inside Out."

No one can blame LeBron James for being mad, though. The No. 2 ranked Ohio State was a slight favorite to win , per CBS Sports. And considering their top-ranked defense—which had only allowed 6.8 points and 196.5 yards per game before Saturday's contest—the Buckeyes were largely expected to win.

Nonetheless, Oregon exposed Ohio State's defense. While the Buckeyes took the lead with six minutes to play, they couldn't make a stop and eventually allowed the Ducks to complete a 74-yard drive and deliver the game-winning 19-yard field goal by Atticus Sappington.

Making things more frustrating, it's Ohio State football's first loss of the season. They dropped to 5-1, while Oregon remains undefeated at 6-0.

Sure enough, James has every reason to be frustrated as a fan.
