Erin Andrews Makes Surprising Admission About Her Personal Life

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews hasn’t been shy about letting her fans and followers in on some of the details of her personal life.

Following the Dallas Cowboys’ 33-17 Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns — a game in which Andrews worked as a sideline reporter — the popular sportscaster admitted on her “Calm Down” podcast, which she co-hosts with Charissa Thompson, that things in her personal life made the leadup to the start of the 2024 NFL season pretty difficult for her to navigate.

And now, Andrews has admitted something perhaps even more vulnerable, as she disclosed that she and her husband, former NHL star Jarrett Stoll, are considering having a second child, which she divulged scares her a bit.

“We’re talking about trying it again,” Andrews told E! News . “I was really, really honest with my doctor a couple weeks ago. I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.’”

Pregnancy has been a sensitive subject for Andrews given her struggle with trying to become pregnant in the years before her first son was born via surrogate. She also lost two embryos before the birth of her son.

The stress of that process more than 15 months ago and the concerns about going through it again and dealing with those particular stressors are what Andrews says she and Stoll are currently deliberating.

“It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back, of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss,” she said.

If Andrews and Stoll were to have another child, now would be the perfect time. Andrews is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2024 season, and it’s unknown whether or not Fox Sports will re-sign her.

If she wanted to take time off to adjust to a new baby and her growing family, she wouldn’t have any work commitments tying her down.
