Tampa Bay Enjoys Calm Night with Slight Warm-Up Expected by Sunday

A quiet night is expected across the Tampa Bay region, with dry conditions prevailing as high pressure continues to control the weather. Overnight low temperatures will be slightly warmer than last night, dipping into the 60s for the Nature Coast and low to mid 70s elsewhere in the region. On Sunday, areas in Southwest Florida could see light showers in the afternoon as moisture gradually increases across the area.

Warmer Sunday Ahead for West-Central and Southwest Florida

As high pressure remains in place, temperatures are set to increase slightly on Sunday. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 80s across much of the region, with mostly dry weather expected. However, areas in Southwest Florida could see isolated showers by Sunday afternoon as moisture spreads northward from south Florida.

• Highs on Sunday: Expect low to mid-80s in the Nature Coast and upper 80s in Southwest Florida.
• Overnight Lows: Temperatures will drop into the 60s across the Nature Coast and low 70s for much of West-Central Florida.

Cooler Weather Expected Mid-Week

A cold front is forecast to move across Florida early next week, bringing cooler and drier air by Wednesday. Highs are expected to fall into the low 70s in the Nature Coast and low 80s further south, with overnight lows in the 50s across the northern areas and 60s in the south.
