If you watched tonight's game only, you'd never believe someone that told you that the Oregon offensive line gave up seven sacks in their first two games. This group has come together in a massive way, both in pass protection and in the run game. Against Ohio State, the guys up front gave up zero sacks for the fourth straight game, while opening up great rushing lanes against an elite defense.

Against arguably the top defense in the country, Dillon Gabriel looked comfortable in the pocket, completing 23 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns, while keeping the ball safe and not throwing any interceptions. Jordan James lead the way out of the backfield, taking 23 carries for 115 yards and a score. None of that could have happened against Ohio State if it wasn't for the guys up front.

"The blocking that Coach Terry's crew did, the O-line — again, I'm gonna go back and watch this film. I'm gonna try to find how many times we see 11 guys with their hats on somebody, giving us an opportunity right to be able to create a big run," head coach Dan Lanning said after the game

It was a clean sheet. Ohio State's elite defensive front got pressure on Gabriel at times, but weren't able to get home.

Entering this game, Ohio State's opponents were averaging 11 points per game, 2.8 yards per carry, 87.2 rushing yards, and 166.0 passing yards per game.

Oregon put up 32 points, 5.0 yards per carry, 155 rushing yards, and 341 passing yards.

    That'll do.

Oregon's early-season struggles along the offensive line are a thing of the past. This unit has rounded a corner and is poised to keep Oregon's offense moving forwards towards their goals of a National Championship.
