Reba McEntire returns to weekly television sitcom land with Happy's Place, which premieres on NBC, on Friday, October 18, at 8 PM.

    Happy's Place

In Happy's Place, McEntire stars as Bobbie, a widow who inherits her father’s bar and discovers that she has to share it with Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), the half-sister she didn’t know she had.

Meanwhile, Isabella has plans for big changes at the bar, which causes friction with Bobbie. Melissa Peterman, McEntire’s costar from Reba (The WB/CW, 2001-2007) reunites on camera with her real-life friend.

    Back From The Past

Meanwhile, too, actor Steve Howy, who co-starred in Reba McEntire's now-classic Reba sitcom, will appear in an episode of Happy's Place.

Howey will portray Danny, a wealthy business owner that Melissa Peterman's Gabby has met at a dog park. To impress him, Gabby pretends to be Bobbie (McEntire) believing that will make her more interesting. But then he wants to hold his holiday party at the tavern.

    More About The Original Reba

On Reba, Steve Howey, now 47, portrayed Reba Hart’s son-in-law Van Montgomery, who weds her daughter Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) after she becomes a young pregnant teen. The show also starred Christopher Rich, Scarlett Pomers, and Mitch Holleman.
