The Rock Addresses Report Claiming He Isn’t Scheduled To Appear At WrestleMania 41

On Friday, the wrestling world was shocked when Dave Meltzer reported in his Wrestling Observer Newsletter that “Dwayne Johnson is not scheduled for the show,” in regards to WrestleMania 41, meaning the speculated triple threat match also featuring Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns wouldn’t happen. However, Johnson, better known as The Rock to wrestling fans, has now shut this down himself, calling the report in his Instagram comments “ bullsh*t. ”

Most fans believed The Rock wrestling at WrestleMania 41 was all but confirmed after his memorable in-ring segment with Cody Rhodes the night after WrestleMania XL, where he explained he had to go away for a bit (to film a movie), but once he returned, he’d be coming for him. Therefore, Meltzer’s report always seemed dubious, and sadly, it appears the once-great pro wrestling journalist has somehow been deceived into reporting false news.
