CNN’s Scott Jennings Hits ‘Cringy’ Dems Over Harris Struggling with Men: They ‘Care More About Dudes Who Want to Become Women’

CNN’s Scott Jennings ripped Democrats as being out of touch with men and Black men Sunday by saying the party is fundamentally out of touch with millions of Americans.

On CNN’s State of the Union , the veteran Republican Party strategist weighed in on last week’s salvo from Democratic Party heavyweights to reach men of color on behalf of Vice President Kamala Harris – who is behind or underwater with men of all ethnicities.

Former President President Barack Obama was among those who were enlisted to reach those voters with just weeks until the Nov. 5 election. Many considered his comments on Black men voting for Harris as a scolding .

Meanwhile, Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz also attracted the wrong kind of attention on Saturday when he struggled to load a shotgun during a hunting excursion with the media in tow.

While replying to comments from network contributor David Urban that Democrats had a serious issue with men heading into the final stretch of the campaign, Jennings commented that a lot of men of every background had been put off by the party and by Harris. Jennings said:

I think the polling this morning and the week – I think David’s right – it was a rough week. I mean, her [favorabilities] are down. They’re struggling with – I mean, the front page of The New York Times this morning, front-page story, Democrats struggling with African American voters – particularly African American men. This gender gap issue is real. It’s a real problem and you see the Democrats reacting to it, and I think what they are now finally in October, the election, coming to realize is that a lot of men think Democrats care more about dudes who want to become women than dudes who just want to be dudes. And no hunting, cosplay, or cringy videos are going to change it. The bed is made.
