Kevin Costner Release New Country Song Aimed to Help Those Impacted by Hurricane Helene and Milton

When it comes to Kevin Costner, many know him for his roles in hit films like Field of Dreams, The Untouchables, Dances with Wolves, and Waterworld. Holding a career in Hollywood since the late 1970s, the actor continues to land on the silver screen with his newest Western Horizon: An American Saga. But what some might not know, Costner is also an accomplished singer. Part of Kevin Costner & Modern West, the actor recently released a new song in over four years. But instead of wanting to share his love for country music, Costner released the song to help those impacted by the recent hurricanes.

Over the last several weeks, Hurricane Helene and Milton ripped through the eastern states, leaving a path of destruction. With many losing houses, loved ones, and even pets, Costner decided to release “Find Your Way.” Sharing the song on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Today, @modernwestband and I are releasing our first song in more than 4 years in support of Hurricanes Helene and Milton recovery efforts. You can find the link to donate and download the song in my stories and bio.”

Recalling his own past with dark times, Costner added, “I’ve gone through seasons of darkness where I clung to the lyrics of songs that really carried me through. I hope that ‘Find Your Way’ provides that kind of refuge for anyone trudging through and losing sight of hope.”

Kevin Costner Working With Hope Force International To Help Victims

Costner insisted that proceeds from the song’s release would not go to himself or the band but to Hope Force International. The organization has been actively working alongside victims and authorities to help those trying to recover from the hurricanes. The actor ended his statement, writing, “I hope it means something to you guys, and that you’ll consider purchasing it to benefit the victims of these terrible storms.”

Fans seemed to love the idea of Costner wanting to use his talents to help those in need. “What a beautiful way to help those in need. We need more loving humanity in this world. Thanks for all you do!!” Another comment read, “The devastation from hurricanes Helene and Milton are so tragic. Thank you Kevin Costner and Modern West for such a beautifully composed and meaningful song. God bless all impacted, those responding and all donations.”
