Zy Alexander is thrilled about beating Ole Miss in overtime

Zy Alexander spoke to the media about his performance in this game and that game changing interception.

Overall, your performance was outstanding. How do you take this, move into the next game and kind of keep this momentum going with how lights out the defense played tonight?

Zy: We are going to celebrate this, recover tomorrow and then on Monday go watch film.

Can you talk us through the interception? How big was that and what did it mean to take the ball away when they were taking the shot at the end zone?

Zy: They motioned in and they tried to pick me but you know I stayed with my man. The ball went up in the air and I went and grabbed it.

You spoke highly about PJ Woodland because he came up with a pretty big pass breakup earlier on the last drive of the game. Can you talk about him as a whole, just evolving as a player and growing?

Zy: Not a lot of people know he's coming into the facilities each day. He’s quiet with his head down and just ready to work.
