Person Killed At Two-Vehicle Crash on Freeway in Van Nuys

VAN NUYS (CNS) - A person was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Van Nuys involving a black Ford F-150 pick-up truck and an unknown vehicle, authorities said.

The crash occurred at 5:20 a.m. on the northbound freeway at Sherman Way, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A SigAlert was issued at 5:59 a.m. closing all northbound lanes at Sherman Way for at least two hours.

There was no other immediate information available.
