Garrett Nussmeier spoke to the media about the final drive in overtime and the performance of the defense in this game.

In the final drive and then overtime, can you speak about how you guys finished the game?

Garrett: I mean, I thought we executed well. A two-minute drive to stay in the game and the offensive line did a good job giving me time. The receivers were getting open and they made plays and that's when good things happen.

Can you take us through that last play when it was completed? Just what was that moment like for you?

Garrett: It was crazy, it was an unbelievable feeling. I will sit here and say that I probably had one of the worst games of my career tonight. I think the best part about that is I get to learn from it. We got to win so I'm excited to get in the film room and fix those things and correct the mistakes. Hopefully, this will be a huge growth moment for me and taking my game to the next level.

How about the job the defense did?

Garrett: The defense did an unbelievable job. I can't say it enough. They really stepped up. I'm so proud of those guys. I'm so proud of leaders on that side of the ball. They really did an amazing job.
