The Chicago Bears got another big win in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and have now won three consecutive games and there's one man to thank for the team's victory in London.

Tight end Cole Kmet was outstanding on Sunday against the Jaguars. The team's big-bodied safety net ended the game with five receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns. But he also played hero in more ways than one.

Following the Bears punt after the second drive, long snapper Scott Daly was ruled out with a knee injury. Most teams aren't usually prepared for this kind of situation but Kmet and the Bears were ready for it.

Kmet served as the team's emergency backup long snapper for the remainder of the game and never once had a bad snap.

"Cole's unbelievable," quarterback Caleb Williams said after the win . "After he scored his touchdown, that was the first thing that we came to the sideline and celebrated about was him snapping the ball. Because obviously those one points go a long way in games like this. He did a great job playing tight end, catching, blocking, but being able to go out there and snap the ball for our holder was amazing."

After the win, head coach Matt Eberflus noted that Kmet gets time to practice long snapping every Thursday at practice, since he is the backup at the position. However, it's something Kmet ideally wouldn't like to do.

"Definitely not a position I envision playing in the NFL ever," Kmet said. "But there's only so many guys you can dress on game day, and only so many guys they can have in the roster. So you got to have somebody that can be the emergency and I'm that guy reluctantly at times. But you know, I get my two or three snaps in on Thursday, and we go to Sunday. It's always my biggest worry going in the game, and hopefully Scott's doing all right, and everything heals up okay. Just glad I could go out there and just provide something for the team."

Something he did want to do was get in the end zone and he was able to do it not once but twice on Sunday.

Kmet's first touchdown of the game was a thing of beauty and a great play design that offensive coordinator Shane Waldron pulled back out of his bag . On the play, wide receiver Keenan Allen motioned behind Williams and faked a screen, followed by a fake screen to running back D'Andre Swift. All the commotion allowed Kmet to get wide open up the seam and then he was able to fight his way into the end zone.

The second touchdown came on first and goal right before the end of the first half after Williams got the team down to the two-yard line. Kmet ran a corner route with Allen running a slant underneath. Once again, it fooled the Jaguars defense leading to an easy touchdown for Kmet.

Overall, it was an impressive do-it-all effort from the team captain who stepped up in a big way when his number was called.
