While WNBA star Angel Reese is working through the offseason after her rookie year with the Chicago Sky, her hometown NFL team, the Baltimore Ravens, are battling through the start of their season.

The 3-2 Ravens hosted the 4-1 Washington Commanders in Week 6, looking to grab their fourth straight win.

Before the Ravens took the field on Sunday, Reese sent a message to what she's called her favorite NFL team on social media.

"You know I'm rocking with the home team todayyyy, Ravens," Reese said.

Reese was wearing a customized Ravens jersey, which had her WNBA No. 5 and "Reese" on the back. She received the jersey from the Ravens after attending a game earlier this year.

Reese's fandom for the Ravens can be linked back to her hometown. She was born in Randallstown, Maryland. Reese played high school basketball at Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore and wound up playing for the state's college, Maryland Terrapins, in her first two years at the collegiate level.

While she's recently been seen repping the Chicago Bears along with the Ravens, she's explained that she'll always have love for her hometown team.

During her rookie season with the Sky, Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. She led the WNBA in average rebounds and was the only rookie to average a double-double.

Her rookie season was cut short due to a season-ending wrist injury, but she was still able to make an incredible impact at 22 years old, being named a WNBA All-Star in her first professional season.
