Prince Harry 'blocks out feud with Prince William' to 'honor his late mom' on solo engagements

As he jets around the globe from London to South Africa on a string of solo appearances , there's been one thing on Prince Harry's mind that has been keeping him going.

The youngest son of King Charles has been forced to put to bed his disagreements with his brother Prince William, and the massive fall-out of his now infamous Oprah Winfrey interview, to focus on one thing, 'the work.'

The Duke Of Sussex briefly returned to the UK before jetting off to South Africa , leaving his wife Meghan Markle and their children back in California. While the rest of the world were speculating on whether he would see his estranged brother - it was a 'business as usual' attitude for Prince Harry.

A source told The Mirror US: "Prince Harry has been going through some of the toughest times of his life following his fall-out with Prince William. Yet through these tough times, doing 'the work' his mother was so passionate about is what has been getting him through. He has had to block out the feud with his much-loved older brother - especially while he was back in England."

The source added: "Several fans thought Prince Harry was the image of his late mother Princess Diana as he went to greet the children with the charities and their families who were brightened by his warmth and charm. As he swept the children up in his arms and crouched down to meet them, it reminded royal watchers of his late mother. This has been what has been getting him though, and this is what he is most passionate about."

Meanwhile Prince Harry is said to be 'back to his old self' as he carries out a string of high-profile engagements. It's rare to see Harry at public events without his wife, but sources have suggested he appears confident even when on his own.

With his charming smile and charismatic presence, one source suggested we might be seeing a resurgence of the old Harry - possibly for the first time since his dramatic exit from the Royal Family four years ago.

"Ever since moving to America, it's taken Harry a long time to feel comfortable and confident enough to go out on his own and he is really enjoying this new way of life," a source said. "Before he always used Meghan as a bit of a security blanket as he felt quite lost in his new role, which was completely different to his old royal life and what he had been used to.

"He was always happy to let Meghan take the limelight as she thrived in big public events and he would take her lead." The source believes Harry "did feel overshadowed at times but he was content with that while he adapted to an entirely new lifestyle."

Harry visited South Africa ahead of a major event - Prince William's Earthshot Prize awards scheduled to take place in Cape Town on November 6, 2024. The timing suggests the brothers may be visiting the country within weeks of each other.

However, before heading to South Africa, Harry attended the WellChild Awards alone in London. Royal expert Duncan Larcombe highlighted this as a standout moment showcasing Harry's charm, saying: "We saw him being brilliant with children and being really charming."
