California-based Taco Bell Launches Savory New Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas in Minneapolis

Taco Bell is set to spice things up with its latest innovation: Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas. Inspired by the beloved Mexican al pastor dish, this new offering features a bold blend of savory Mexican spices and a touch of sweetness from pineapple, all wrapped in two cheesy, street-sized Quesalupa-inspired shells. The limited-time test will debut on October 31 at select locations in Minneapolis for $4.99.

The Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas incorporate Taco Bell's fan-favorite Cantina Slow-Roasted Chicken, marinated with chiles and pineapple, and topped with fresh onions and cilantro. This new item pays homage to the rich history of al pastor, a dish that showcases the fusion of Mexican and Middle Eastern culinary traditions.

The test launch marks Taco Bell's commitment to bringing craveable, Mexican-inspired items to fans, with even more al pastor-inspired offerings like quesadillas, burritos, and bowls planned for testing in 2025.
