Back in July, Marko Stunt returned to AEW television during an episode of Collision to unsuccessfully challenge Jack Perry for the TNT Championship. Subsequently, this led some fans to hope the AEW original was back with the company, although it was soon confirmed it was just a one-off appearance. And now, in troubling news, it appears the former Jurassic Express member could be set to retire, having taken to X to reveal he is having health difficulties.

28-year-old Stunt debuted for AEW at their inaugural Double or Nothing pay-per-view as part of the Casino Battle Royal. This would result in him signing a full-time contract with the newly launched company and forming the Jurassic Express stable alongside Perry and Killswitch. Yet two years into his run, it would come out that Stunt wasn’t being included in any future merchandise plans. Therefore, it didn’t come as a surprise when he departed the company in 2022 following several months of not wrestling.
