Fluffy slippers are the perfect way to keep your feet cozy in the fall and winter. And while there are so many options out there, an eye-catching new trend is sporting furry slippers that have a front portion that’s oversized and round. The style is unique and adds a fun aspect to wearing slippers every day. Aldi’s upcoming slippers follow this trend and are majorly affordable. Plus, they look like a Free People style that’s five times the price.
From Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, Aldi will be selling Serra Ladies Oversized Faux Fur Slippers for only $7.99 in the Aldi Finds aisle at their U.S. stores (while supplies last, of course). As we described above, these are closed-toe, slide-in slippers with a front portion that is very oversized with fluff. They have a slip-resistant outsole, but the rest (including the padded footbed) is covered with this plush, furry material.
These big faux fur slippers come in three colors: blue (a Cinderella blue), off-white and grey. They are available in women’s sizes 7 to 10. While it looks like there are some seams on the sides (closer to the outsole), they seem to have a smooth top that’s basically a big dome of fur.
As we mentioned before, these Aldi faux fur slippers are very similar to a trendy style from Free People: their Snowball Slippers , which are currently $40 and come in the taupe (a light tan color) and sizes 6 to 10. They have a similar design to Aldi’s: they have a very big, fluffy front portion where your foot slides into, with a flat outsole on the bottom. According to Free People’s website, these oversized slippers are made with polyester (presumably for the faux fur part) and rubber (for the outsole).
