Multi-year disaster has Titans surprisingly similar to the worst organizations in the NFL

NASHVILLE - Offensive incompetence in the fourth quarter allowed another winnable game to slip through the fingers of the Tennessee Titans (1-4).

The Titans lost at home to the division rival Indianapolis Colts 20-17 after having numerous chances to win the game. Tennessee had just two offensive plays of 10+ yards on Sunday...and they've missed another opportunity to snap an ugly streak.

The last time the Tennessee Titans won two games in a row was back in November of 2022. The Titans beat the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football to improve to 7-3.  And since then, everything has seemed to spiral.

The Titans are 7-22 in their last 29 games. Since that game in Green Bay...the Carolina Panthers are also 7-22 (pending Sunday's result). The New England Patriots are 8-23. We're not just talking bad, we're talking worst team in football bad over the last 30 games or so.

Only the Arizona Cardinals have more days between now and their last "winning streak" than the Titans. The Cardinals are also the only team with a worse record since November 17th, 2022 ( TNF win in GB ), but even that comes down to just one win.

It may not be too early for Titans fans to start directing their attention to the 2025 NFL Draft and the impending trade deadline. Something significant needs to change within this organization given their lack of success and the amount of money they spent in the offseason to improve this roster.
