It was another hectic weekend for ESPN reporter Laura Rutledge. The former beauty queen turned football reporter was in Dallas, Texas to provide coverage for the Red River Rivalry as No. 1 Texas annihilated No. 3 Oklahoma, 34-3, in what turned out to be a dominant victory by the Longhorns.

Rutledge revealed via Instagram that she actually had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction before the game. The 36-year-old got her bright white top stained as she was going through the crowd at the Cotton Bowl Stadium. Rutledge still went on with the show despite the minor mishap, though, and as always, she was able to provide excellent coverage during the game.

The stained white button-down sleeveless vest was actually Rutledge's second outfit of the day. Before heading over to the Cotton Bowl Stadium, she took part in the "SEC Nation" pregame show, providing expert insight on Saturday's slate of college football games.

During the show, Rutledge had a one-piece blue dress, which she showed off on Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, Rutledge's eye-catching ensemble -- as well as her beautifully styled hairdo -- turned heads on social media. More than a few fans took notice of the reporter's Saturday look.

Rutledge also shared a couple more photos of herself in her all-blue ensemble on her Instagram Stories, including one where she posed with a fan holding up a cutout poster of her face.

Rutledge also got to spend some time with Longhorns mascot Bevo right before Texas destroyed Oklahoma on the field.

Rutledge is not only one of the top college reporters in the game today, but she has also become a bit of a fashion icon in the sport.

Fans will be tuned for her coverage in Week 8, as well as for her next fashion statement.
