A comedian on Sunday said that he was fearing for his own life after being "viciously assaulted" by a "die-hard Trump supporter" over a joke.

Patrick W. Cutler, an actor and comedian best known online for his impersonations of Napoleon Dynamite on TikTok, said over the weekend that he has stopped making videos due to the attack.

On Saturday, Cutler took to X to spill some initial details about the purported violent assault.

"I got jumped outside a bar tonight, and physically assaulted in Dallas, Texas," he wrote. "More details to come…for the time right I have decided to quit making videos…"

In a later post, he said, "There is an actual Napoleon Dynamite assault tape from tonight."

"I have personally decided to move on with my life. I would like to appreciate everyone’s support and God Bless," he added.

Then on Sunday, Cutler came out with even more information, including that the individual was reportedly a "die-hard" supporter of Trump.

"I was viciously assaulted last night by a die-hard Trump supporter in downtown Dallas, Texas for simply making a joke he didn’t like," Cutler wrote. "I have video evidence of it, but have decided not to release it at this time for fear of my own life."

Sounds like someone is learning hard lessons about personal responsibility and social etiquette. Failure to exercise proper judgment can have dire consequences.
