Maxx Crosby Breaks Silence After Viral Sideline Incident

Sunday was a rough day for the Las Vegas Raiders . The Raiders were blown out by the Pittsburgh Steelers 32-13, and the game was out of reach early in the fourth quarter. Las Vegas now drops to 2-4 on the season, firmly in last place in the AFC West.

A lot of things went wrong for the Raiders, and as a result, there was a bit of frustration. Some of that frustration hit Maxx Crosby, who was caught pushing Mike Caldwell late in the game.

Here, we see Crosby push Caldwell, who is both a linebackers coach and a run game coordinator for the Raiders. It is important to note that Crosby gets a pat on the shoulder from Isaiah Pola-Mao immediately after, which would signal that there wasn't a ton of hostility at the moment.

As the clip started to go viral, Crosby took to the social media platform 'X' to clear the air.

Here, Crosby gives a shout out to Caldwell, calling him 'one of the best people in the business', and also claims that it was more of a 'love push' than anything.

This is great to hear from Crosby, and it's exactly what Raiders fans wanted to hear. With one star player in Davante Adams already involved in trade rumors , the last thing the fanbase wants to see is their other star player unhappy with the team. Now, Crosby could very well be frustrated anyways, but this statement does quite some of that speculation a bit.

The Raiders will look to get back on track next week as they take on the Los Angeles Rams .
