Fatal Head-On Crash on Cajon Blvd: Two Dead, Two Injured Sunday Morning

SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people killed and two people injured in a head-on crash on Cajon Boulevard old Route 66 early Sunday morning.

California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Sheriff Department, AMR, and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision. The crash happened about 1:22am Sunday October 13, 2024, on Cajon Blvd. near Mathews Ranch Road.

The driver and passenger of a silver Toyota GR86 sports car and a black Chevrolet Malibu sedan were occupants by two, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

Firefighters rendered aid to all four victims, but sadly the driver of Chevy succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the Toyota was transported by ambulance with rescue workers performing CPR on the driver prior to being transported. The driver of Toyota succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.

The two passengers in both vehicles were transported by ambulance with unknown major injuires. Chevy passenger was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center and the Toyota passenger was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Both drivers’ identity has not been released publicly at this time.
