Liverpool is gearing up for a clash with Chelsea following the international break .

Arne Slot's team , currently leading the Premier League table by a single point over Manchester City and Arsenal, is set to face a series of top-half sides over the coming weeks. The Reds' upcoming schedule includes matches against the Blues , the Gunners, Bayer Leverkusen, and Aston Villa.

Caoimhin Kelleher, who has often expressed his ambition to be the first-choice goalkeeper, will step in for the injured Alisson until after the next international break. This means he'll miss at least the next seven games across all competitions, just as he missed this week's internationals against Chile and Peru.

An intriguing story from Chelsea's summer signing, 17-year-old Estevao Willian, about Liverpool's injured goalkeeper from the last international break, adds fuel to the rivalry ahead of next weekend's match.

Estevao, who was called up to Dorival Junior's senior squad for the first time in September, shared an incident from training that 'annoyed' Liverpool's No. 1.

"In shooting training, I started to hit all the shots and Alisson got a bit angry. He said he was still warming up, that I should wait a little bit. But I took it a bit seriously and scored many goals (against) him," Estevao told The Guardian . "He took it all in jest, but I hope that next year I can do again against him in (Premier League) matches. We’ll see a lot of each other in England."

Estevao isn't yet donning the Chelsea blue; he's set to join the Stamford Bridge outfit next summer after they've struck a pre-emptive €57 million ($62.3 million) deal with Palmeiras, mirroring Liverpool's proactive approach with Giorgi Mamardashvili. Once the Brazilian turns 18 and makes his move official, he'll be eager to face Alisson again, hoping the Reds' new Georgian acquisition hasn't displaced the Brazilian number one by then.
