There was a lot of talk surrounding Justin Fields ahead of Sunday's matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Las Vegas Raiders. This was brought about by the fact that offseason signing Russell Wilson was taken off the injury list on Friday.

Wilson was expected to be Pittsburgh's QB1 when they signed him on a one-year deal during the offseason, but a calf injury delayed his debut for his new team. This led to Fields, who was also an offseason acquisition by the Steelers, taking over the helm in Wilson's stead.

Despite not being listed on the injury report for the first time this season, Wilson still failed to make his Steelers debut on Sunday. This led to another start for Fields, who responded with another strong performance.

Fields, who had led the Steelers to a 3-2 start entering Sunday's contest, came up big against Las Vegas to finish with 14-of-24 completed passes for 145 yards. The former Chicago Bears star had 11 carries for 59 yards and two touchdowns as Pittsburgh secured a dominant 32-13 victory against the Raiders.

After the game, Fields' (rumored) girlfriend , Gianna Carmona, took to Instagram to send a three-word message following her beau's eye-opening performance.

"Yall heard him đŸ–€ " she captioned her post.

Carmona has been attending Steelers games in Pittsburgh and she just had to send her love to Fields following their win at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.

Carmona, whose relationship with Fields has not been confirmed publicly, shared a video that was posted by the Steelers, which had Fields sending a strong message after the win.

"What's good Steeler nation?" Fields said. "Out here in Vegas. Just got a dub, baby. Here we go. On to the next. Yes, sir."

The Steelers next play on Oct. 20 back at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh against the New York Jets. Fields' eye-catching performance against the Raiders, however, may have given head coach Mike Tomlin a lot to think about in terms of who's going to be starting at center in Week 7.

Justin deserves to be the starter. He wasn't a good fit for Chicago but he has shown to be a great fit with the Steelers.
