Two Beagles Searching For Love After Owner Unable To Bring Them On Move

(MA) Buddy and Rat are an adorable pair of Beagle mix pups who, as a bonded pair of best friends, are searching for the family that will help them start the next chapter of their lives. These two pups recently came into Great Dog Rescue New England's care after their owner was forced to surrender them. Their owner was moving to Brazil and was unfortunately unable to bring them along for the move.

Though they haven't had an easy time with all the sudden change, Buddy and Rat have luckily been placed with a loving foster who has been helping them adjust. Their future owner will of course need to have patience and be willing to do the same. But just look at those faces, and you should know they are absolutely worth it!

"These boys are all each other have, and we know a loving family is out there who has room in their hearts for TWO older gentlemen!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

More Information On Buddy & Rat

Buddy and Rat are both 11-year-old senior Beagle mix pups. Their Petfinder profile says they both weigh around 25 pounds. They have short coat lengths, which are apricot, beige, white, and cream in color. These boys are both up to date on their vaccinations and are neutered. They are also housebroken.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Buddy and Rat are very nice and well behaved pups. After such sudden change at an older age, they are unsurprisingly very stressed due to the new environment. They are a bit shy and scared as a result, but with a patient foster have been adapting and doing better and better each day. As senior pups, they are both very low energy. The most important thing in their lives, are each other.

"We would love to find them a happy ending for whatever remaining time they have left on this earth given their ages!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
