Former Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has urged Trent Alexander-Arnold to carry his England form into the upcoming clash with Chelsea.

The right-back found the net for the national team in its 3-1 triumph over Finland, aiding England's recovery after a disappointing defeat to Greece. As Liverpool prepares to host Enzo Maresca's Chelsea this Sunday - a significant fixture in Arne Slot's challenging schedule, which includes a visit to Arsenal the following week - Henderson has called on Alexander-Arnold to deliver again.

The Reds are looking to secure their stronghold at the summit of the Premier League, bolstered by the return of Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, and Curtis Jones from international duties. Alexander-Arnold, wrapping up his stint with England, expressed his joy on Instagram with a concise message: "Top Left. Top Team. Top Night."

The goal-scoring defender received heaps of comments, including one from Henderson, who cheekily requested another standout performance in what's set to be a stern test for Liverpool.

The Ajax star chimed in with optimism: "Not bad... this weekend again please."

Reds fans are keen to see if the 25-year-old can deliver yet another stellar performance against the London side when Liverpool next step onto the pitch. Alexander-Arnold is no stranger to excelling against Chelsea, notably netting crucial set-piece goals at Stamford Bridge and Anfield - including one in the memorable match sealing Liverpool's ascent as Premier League champions.
