MLBB: Community Gaming and Moonton Combine for Exciting Esports in 2024

Community Gaming, a company probably best known for its automated esports tournament payout platform and as the sponsor of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's (MLBB) professional league for the Latin America Region (MPL LATAM), is working to increase its role in developing esports communities in Latin America through an expanded collaboration with Moonton. MLBB Gets a Boost

This partnership promises to provide a boost to the Latin American MLBB program by adding to CG's existing resources associated with its grant program, a partner-backed initiative to provide event organizers with economic resources based on the performance and growth of their local esports communities.

According to the announcement from Community Gaming, tournament organizers can now apply to receive platform support, prizes, in-game currency, items, and tournament professional assistance including "Tournament Mode." Community Gaming's announcement explained that this is a special setting on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang that grants organizers enhanced features, such as unlocking all available skins in the game for players to fully enjoy a complete and unique Mobile Legends Bang Bang pro tournament experience.

Flash MLBB Tournament Planned

As MPL LATAM nears its completion at the end of this year, Community Gaming will also be collaborating with MLBB professional teams to offer a flash $4,000 prize tournament designed to enhance the visibility of the company's services. According to the media release, it is hoped that this event will mark a pivotal moment and highlight Community Gamings's preparedness to impact the professional MLBB scene. "We hope this partnership brings new experiences to the players," said Wei Xu, Moonton’s regional esports operation manager. “Community Gaming is the most accepted esports platform in our community in Latin America.”

Building on Existing Partnerships

This isn’t the first time Community Gaming and Moonton have teamed up to improve the experience of players. In the past, both companies have partnered to develop the Dawn of Heroes Series, a set of events in 2021 and 2022 that offered qualifying slots to MLBB's Signature Competition, Liga LATAM. The companies have also worked together on Peru's University Tournament INTERU 2023 and currently Community Gaming hosts significant activity of MLBB Tournaments from over 12 countries on a monthly basis.
