Quarterback Jalen Hurts met with NFL of FOX's Megan Olivi for a quick post-game interview following the Philadelphia Eagles' 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Olivi was ready to wrap things up after talking about the offense but Hurts wasn't finished and said, "You didn't ask me about how good the defense played. They played their a** off," before taking over the interview and shining light on his teammates.

"Chauncey showed up. Jalen Carter showed up. BG showed up in his 200th game. The young corners showed up. Everybody showed up," Hurts said. "So, we just need to keep flying around. Keep playing as a team, really continue to play complimentary football. We've got to continue in that aspect of the game."

The Eagles' defense entered the matchup with just six sacks to their name and walked away with five more and 10 QB hits on Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson in the victory.

One of those sacks belonged to rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean , who logged his first start in the slot over veteran Avonte Maddox. He finished the day with six tackles (three solo), a QB hit, and half a sack.

Nakobe Dean led the team with 12 tackles and Zack Baun wasn't too far behind him with eight.

In total, the Eagles' defense held the Browns to just 244 total yards and one touchdown. The Browns' other touchdown came off a blocked punt on a return.

The Eagles' defense also received an unprompted shoutout from head coach Nick Sirianni after the game.

"The defense started their ass off. It was 10-nothing and the defense didn't let up a play," Sirianni said. "So they played their ass off. So they started fast and we'll get it figured out on offense. We will get it figured out on offense."

This performance from Philly's defense was much-needed after playing four weeks of questionable sloppy ball. Now, it's time for the offensive side of the ball to show up.
