Jennifer Lopez On Why She Had 'No Choice' But To Divorce Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is moving forward with her life! The singer and actress is not going to be wallowing in self pity anymore or focusing on the bad times in her most recent marriage and divorce. Jennifer is trying not to let her most recent heartbreak or the world's perception of her relationship with ex husband Ben Affleck make her bitter about life anymore.

Now, she is feeling grateful for their relationship and the time they spent together creating 'beautiful memories' with Ben, during their two-year marriage. The multi-talented performer is going to focus on family now, especially raising her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, that she had with ex husband, Marc Anthony. She is also taking time for herself, and is grateful for the wonderful life that she has worked so hard for.

"She was very upset about it," a source tells PEOPLE. ''She didn’t want to file for divorce. She just felt like she had no choice. Nothing was gonna change with Ben,” the insider shared, adding that “this has been one of the hardest years for Jennifer.” Not only did she face months of public speculation and scrutiny over her relationship status, but Lopez also spent most of her summer solo in the Hamptons after canceling her This Is Me… Live tour.,'' as reported by Harper's Bazaar.
