According to a new report by Restaurant Dive, a CA worker is suing Subway for wage theft, among other things. According to the report, Eva Rodriguez, who has worked at a Subway in LA for over a decade, is suing the popular sandwich shop, its parent company Doctor's Associates, and the Subway franchisee that employs here.

According to Rodriguez, she worked over 100 a week and was not paid overtime for working extra hours. Rodriguez also claims that she was denied breaks and made her work off the clock. The final straw came when Rodriguez claimed that she got injured on the job and filed for workers' compensation.

However, the chain "threatened her ability to work in the United States", according to the report. Rodriguez claimed that she has faced retaliation from the company since suing them and that her hours have been cut. However, Rodriguez said that she is thankful for the California Fast Food Workers Union supporting her.
