Kaitlyn Bristowe Slammed by Fans for Inappropriate Dress at Friend’s Wedding: ‘A Little Bold’

Kaitlyn Bristowe was slammed by fans for wearing an inappropriate dress to her friend’s wedding.

The former Bachelorette star, 39, took to Instagram on Sunday, October 13, to share photos and videos of herself attending a friend’s wedding over the weekend. In the first three slides, Kaitlyn showed off her orange dress that includes revealing lace on the front and a high slit that showed off her legs.

“Beautiful wedding, beautiful couple, beautiful blisters all over my feet from dancing all night,” she captioned the photos from the evening.

Shortly after Kaitlyn shared the post, many fans rushed to the comments section to deem the outfit as too revealing for the occasion. “You wore that to a friend's WEDDING?” one person asked, while another chimed in, “A little bold for a wedding.”

Meanwhile, others slammed the former reality star for including a photo of her dirty feet in the post. “Don’t need to see the dirty, gross feet pic!!! Distracts from the entire reel,” one critic wrote.

Despite the backlash, other fans made it clear they were fans of the dress. “This is the best dress I’ve ever seen! You look amazing!” one person commented. Another added, “You look so gorgeous in that color! You also look happy and relaxed; so nice to see it.”

The complimentary comments continued as another social media user wrote, “This dress is already fire, but damn girl! You rocked it!”

Kaitlyn was met with differing opinions after she made headlines for her apparent feud with fellow Bachelor Nation star Tayshia Adams . Following Kaitlyn’s split from Jason Tartick in 2023, she was linked to Tayshia’s ex Zac Clark when they were spotted looking cozy in the background of a video from her New Year’s party. The pair continued to fuel dating rumors when they were spotted together in New York City a few weeks later, and they went on to attend a wedding together in June.

Kaitlyn insisted she was single during an interview in July, though confirmed she had been seeing an unnamed person who lived in another city. She added that there were no plans for her or the “mystery man” to relocate, and she said she was still seeing other people.

The drama escalated one month later when Kaitlyn seemingly revealed how Tayshia, 34, reacted to her and Zac, 40, spending time together while appearing on the “U Up?” podcast. At the time, she recalled going on a date with someone from Bachelor Nation and reaching out to his ex ahead of the date.

“[I was] thinking it would be a situation where they’d go, ‘I mean, I don’t love it, but I’m not going to say don’t.’ It was not,” the Dancing With the Stars alum shared, adding that the ex she reached out to had “moved on for a while now.” While Kailyn did not directly name Tayshia, she has been dating Luke Gulbranson since 2023.

After Kaitlyn explained that she told the ex that she was talking to the unnamed man, she claimed the other woman said, “I always knew you were a bad person and you’ve confirmed it, so your true colors are showing.”
